This forecast is reportedly fueled by the rapid adoption of its business-focused AI products.
The company's financial trajectory indicates a significant upward trend. Reuters previously reported Anthropic's aim to nearly triple its annual revenue run rate in the coming year. The company is reportedly on track to achieve $9 billion in annualized recurring revenue (ARR) by the close of 2025, with projections for 2026 setting an ARR goal between $20 billion and $26 billion. The Information further indicated that Anthropic anticipates $3.8 billion in revenue from API sales this year, surpassing OpenAI's projected $1.8 billion from similar sales. Its Claude Code product is nearing $1 billion in annualized revenue, an increase from approximately $400 million in July.
Anthropic's intensified business-to-business (B2B) strategy is a core component of these projections. Recent collaborations include Microsoft, which has begun integrating Anthropic's models into Microsoft 365 applications and Copilot. The company has also expanded its partnership with Salesforce and initiated plans to deploy its AI assistant, Claude, to hundreds of thousands of employees at firms such as Deloitte and Cognizant.
