Sora 2, OpenAI's advanced audio and video generator, reportedly builds on its predecessor by generating more realistic and physically consistent scenes, featuring synchronized sound and expanded creative control, including detailed camera direction and stylized visuals. Altman stated that developers can now utilize the same model powering Sora 2's video outputs directly within their own applications. OpenAI cited an example of a Mattel designer using the technology to transform a sketch into a toy concept, illustrating its utility for rapid prototyping, design iteration, and visual concept development across various industries.
